30 transcriptions for guitar solo by Martin Hegel - The edition Schumann for Guitar makes an interesting attempt to transfer the romantic poetic music of Robert Schumann to the guitar. This results in new sonic possibilities for the guitar repertoire, especially given the fact that Schumann himself has not composed any original guitar piece. Included are of course pieces from the famous piano cycles Album for the Youth, Kinderszenen and Albumblätter, but also some songs like Mondnacht or In the wonderful month of May. A special highlight of the booklet are the original Schumann transcriptions by Francisco Tárrega (1852-1909), which emphasize that guitarists have already dealt with Schumann's music in the 19th century. The pieces are in their technical claim easy to moderate, so that even amateur guitarists have their fun on the pieces! - Contents: 8 pieces from the 'Album für die Jugend' op.68: Melodie (No.1), Soldatenmarsch (No.2), Trällerliedchen (No.3), Stückchen (No.5), Armes Waisenkind (No.6), Kleine Studie (No.14), Erster Verlust (No.16), Mignon (No.35), 4 Stücke aus 'Albumblätter' op.124: Walzer (No.4), Phantasietanz (No.5), Wiegenliedchen (No.6), Larghetto (No.13), 7 Stücke aus den 'Kinderszenen' op.15: Von fremden Ländern und Menschen (No.1), Kuriose Geschichte (No.2), Bittendes Kind (No.4), Ritter vom Steckenpferd (No.9), Fürchtenmachen (No.11), Kind im Einschlummern (No.12), Der Dichter spricht (No.13), 7 Schumann-Transkriptionen von Francisco Tárrega (1852 1909): Andantino, Cantabile (No.4 aus op.99), Preludio (No.5 aus op.99), Romanza (No.1, Trio aus op.21), Rêverie ('Träumerei' aus op.15), Feuilles variées (No.5 aus op.99), Berceuse ('Schlummerlied', No.16 aus op.124), Saint Nicolas ('Knecht Ruprecht' aus op.68), 4 Lied-Bearbeitungen für Gitarrenduo: Mondnacht (No.5 aus op.39), Im wunderschönen Monat Mai (No.1 aus op.48), Die Lotosblume (No.7 aus op.25), Er, der Herrlichste von Allen (No.2 aus op.42) - Other editions of the series ...
