Kati's guitar method is the new, lovingly designed guitar method for children and young people that leaves the well-trodden paths and inspires and motivates in an unconventional way. Language: German - The concept of the school is flexible. It is suitable for individual and group lessons, ensemble play at music schools, for class music in general schools as well as for private lessons. The special thing about the extensive guitar school are the novel methodological approaches for practice-related lessons. In the smallest of steps, students get to know the versatility of guitar playing, such as simplified chord playing in combination with a monophonic guitar melody, using the capo to expand the sound, ensemble playing, two-part playing in the 7th position or playing melodies with bass tones. “Children want to be picked up where they are”. That is why the school and the accompanying play book (which comes with a CD) contain many current hits and classics, film music and modern children's songs. Among them are songs like Viva la vida (Coldplay), He's A Pirate (from “Pirates of the Caribbean”), The Lion Sleeps Tonight (from “The Lion King”), Winnetou melody, 99 balloons (NENA), breathless durch die Nacht (Helene Fischer) and with All My Loving, A Hard Day's Night or Yesterday some of the Beatles' greatest hits. The qualified music pedagogue Andreas Schumann looks back on decades of teaching. He has long been interested in the development of didactic and methodical concepts for guitar lessons. Schumann's methods and game books, which have been published by well-known publishers, are now part of the canon of teaching literature in Germany. The series “Lena and Tom” should be emphasized at this point, which is also published by Bosworth Edition and will shortly be expanded with the volume “Lena and Tom play pop music”. Schumann is also a welcome guest on concert stages at home and abroad. His "Trio Arpeggione", which has now been in existence for 18 years, is dedicated to the repertoire of the Viennese Classical and Romantic periods with violin and viola. Andreas Schumann is a graduate of the Lübeck University of Music, where he studied in Professor Albert Aigner's class.
