The songbook offers 33 pieces to supplement ukulele schools that are used in music lessons, suitable for children between the ages of 5 and 11, who have just begun their instrumental lessons and have gained their first note knowledge. Offered are songs that children can sing along and play immediately. It applies the principle of small learning steps. It starts with one-tone and two-tone songs, which are played only on open strings and, since all are provided with text, can be sung. The teacher is encouraged to work on the pieces along with the students on the ukulele first. Only then does the teacher guitar accompaniment listed below serve as a supplement to the student voice. This creates a successful listening experience at the end of each learning step. On predetermined fingerings is omitted. These should be explained and shown by the teacher in the classroom. The notes to be picked are pictorially represented for each song in the form of a diagram. The always unanimously recorded melody voice moves in the octave space c - c, including the open strings 1 - 4, (a - e - c - g). The order of the songs is arranged in ascending order according to the number of notes to be picked, as well as the complexity of rhythm and note values. All 33 songs deal exclusively with the melody play. These should be plucked with a not too soft or too hard plectrum. Mood: G, C, E, A
