Etudes from the Romantic era for mandolin solo edited by Caterina Lichtenberg, progressively arranged according to level of difficulty, published by Vogt & Fritz - Vol. 1: Intermediate Level. Sorted progressively according to level of difficulty and technique. This etude collection is aimed at players who would like to be introduced to the great literature of the romantic mandolin era with joy and through original pieces and exercises. They serve to get to know or deepen romantic playing techniques, which are necessary for most works of the 19th and early 20th centuries, and sometimes also in contemporary works. With selected pieces by composers from the corresponding schools of the Romantic era, valuable original literature from those masters is presented, with which players can study the foundations for the Romantic mandolin era (Christofaro, Odell, Calace, Branzoli, Cerclier, Munier). These pieces were compiled according to topics and arranged in a didactic order, building on each other.
